This role is based in Gaylord, Minnesota—Minnesota's Healthy Heartland. Gaylord is located in south-central Minnesota, about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the county seat, Gaylord serves as the hub of Sibley County. Our facility produces liquid egg, hard-cooked egg, and precooked egg products such as scrambled eggs, patties, and omelets.
Responsibilities
The Driver is responsible for hauling manure from poultry houses to spreading units and assisting in its application when needed. Additional duties include truck and barn maintenance.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating professionally with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance in alignment with production scheduling or volunteered time.
- Drive manure truck, load, haul, and spread manure according to MPCA guidelines, logging all loads.
- Complete all required documentation to ensure DOT compliance.
- Regularly clean truck cabs and trailers in designated areas; report any damages or needed repairs to the By-Products Supervisor immediately.
- Perform daily equipment inspections before use.
- Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMPs, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is upheld.
- Report any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality, or personnel safety to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Class A CDL driver’s license.
- Driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last five years.
Pay
$23.50 to $29.00 per hour.
