About the role

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Driver to work at Grand Lodge, located at 4400 South 80th Street, Lincoln, NE 68516. Grand Lodge has 109 independent and 10 assisted living apartment homes.

Schedule

This position is 16 hours per week, with shifts available in either 4 or 8-hour blocks. Additional hours may be available depending on resident needs, events, and appointments.

Pay

Pay ranges up to $18.86 per hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle and plan efficient routes.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Assist residents with boarding, exiting, and carrying luggage.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license (in Iowa, a Chauffeur’s license is required prior to hire).
• CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
• CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
• Must successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (hiring is contingent on this).
