Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Aid in delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the Sales Center Manager.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Aid in physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable, current driving experience.
• Minimum of a 22 ft box truck/stake bed truck.
• Ability to multi-task and work within daily deadlines.
• Knowledge of common carrier (LTL) and full truckload logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service.
• A willingness to learn and grow with our Company.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proven commitment to customer service and a safe work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must have a clean driving record for at least the past 3 years (including no suspensions, restricted license, or DUI and no more than 1 moving violation within any 1-year period).

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months Warehouse experience including forklift operation.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC and truckload logistics is a plus.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
