Driver
About the role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program. The role involves operating a 26-foot box truck to service multiple customer locations each day, working closely with a team to safely remove large appliances from residential homes.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided box truck to pick up residential refrigerators and freezers scheduled for recycling.
- Visit customer homes daily, verify appliance eligibility, and ensure program requirements are met.
- Safely load, secure, and transport appliances using dollies, straps, and proper lifting techniques.
- Maneuver and move appliances weighing approximately 150–250 lbs using team-lifting methods.
- Transport collected appliances to a warehouse or recycling facility.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing courteous service and clear communication.
- Follow safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Contribute to environmental sustainability by ensuring appliances are responsibly removed and recycled.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Comfortable performing physical work, including heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers.
- Willingness to learn – full training provided.
- DOT medical card (assistance available upon hire if required).

Pay
Targeted Compensation Range: $24/hour + $1,000 sign-on bonus.
Schedule
This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
