Driver

Duties

• Transports materials, tools, supplies, and heavy equipment to job sites in the assigned area.
• Loads and unloads trucks and secures materials and tools for transport.
• Supports and assists in job clean-offs and organizing and storing excess inventory.
• Affords assistance in warehouse and storage areas clean-up and maintenance.
• Maintains tool inventory records for the assigned division.
• Maintains vehicles and ensures that the vehicles are in good working order.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL Texas driver’s license with an excellent driving record required.
• Current forklift certification or experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to abide by all company safety regulations and rules of conduct.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of warehouse equipment.

Work Environment

• Extended periods of driving.
• Outdoor environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift and handle tools, material, and equipment up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products.
• Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
