Driver and Program Assistant

About the role

Mentor Adult Day Health is a member of the Sevita family, offering day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. Participants receive quality healthcare while staying active and involved in the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants between their homes, the day center, appointments, and community activities.
• Aid passengers with boarding, securing, and exiting the vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Support participants with activities, meals, and daily care needs as needed.
• Provide compassionate assistance with mobility, hygiene, and bathroom needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED-proof required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
• Experience driving passenger vans preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent service.
