Driver - Afternoon Shift

About the Role

The Driver is responsible for providing daily freight solutions, ensuring safe and efficient supply chain operations. This role requires a passion for safety, reliability, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper placarding and safety compliance for trucks/trailers
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
• Maintain appropriate driving speeds, trip reports, and logbooks
• Communicate work issues promptly to supervisors
• Coordinate work assignments with supervisors to meet customer needs
• Build positive relationships with customers
• Maintain accurate logs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of driving experience; 5 years preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. occasionally
