DRC ASL Interpreter

About the role

The Disability Resource Center is seeking experienced Sign Language Interpreters to provide American Sign Language interpreting services for USU students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpretation for USU sponsored classes and events.
• Prepare for classes by reviewing course material or other relevant information.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: State or National Interpreter Certification.
• PREFERRED Qualifications: 1 - 3 years ASL interpreter experience, ASL interpreting experience in a higher educational setting.

ADA Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
