Drains Technician

About the role

Johnson Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing is looking for a drains technician to join their team. This individual will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage systems, ensuring efficient and effective water flow in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities

- Reports to: Plumbing Service Manager - Diagnose and repair drain issues including clogs, leaks, and blockages - Install and maintain drainage systems, including piping, traps, and vents - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of drainage systems to prevent issues - Use specialized equipment such as drain snakes, hydro-jetters, and camera inspection tools - Follow site safety protocols and regulations - Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and solutions - Prepare and maintain records of work performed and materials used - Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently

Requirements

- High School Diploma/GED is required - Must pass a background check and drug screening - Must be able to lift up to [weight] - High level of customer service - Go-getter mentality and ambitious - High attention to detail and good organization skills - Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office - Positive attitude and winner mentality - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a professional and technical level - Ability to address issues with effective solutions and a positive attitude - Excellent time-management and prioritization skills - Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and grow, actively seeking opportunities for personal and professional development - Able to work both independently and as part of a team
