Drafting/CAD Technician

About the role

This is a 100% remote W2 contract position with a 3-month initial term and potential for extension based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and coordinate plant drawings to ensure accuracy, organization, and accessibility across the facility.
• Ensure all required documentation (drawings, spare parts, procedures, schedules) is completed for projects.
• Interface with teams to design equipment for manufacturing.
• Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues using technical drawings.
• Provide ownership and oversight of drawing management to support daily operations, cost reduction, and improvement projects.
• Apply technical design skills to create and manage technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or certification required.
• Any experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.

Pay

$23 per hour, W2 contract.
