Drafter/Designer

Responsibilities

• Performing drafting work manually or by using a computer requiring knowledge and skills in drafting methods, procedures and techniques.
• Using a recognized system of symbols, legends, shadings, lines and layering in accordance with ECI Drafting Standards.
• Preparing as-built drawings from red-line copies.
• Preparing error-free revisions of preexisting CADD files.
• Performing a variety of assignments which may include drawing reproduction, handling material supplies and other similar work.

Requirements

• College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design, or a minimum of two years concentrated on the job experience in computer-aided drafting/design field.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation/Bentley Connect a plus.
• Proven effective verbal and written communication skills, proven excellent level of interpersonal skills, and ability to work individually and on a team.
• Proven ability to work with confidential information and possess a high level of organizational skills.
• Detail oriented and possess a high level of organizational skills.
