Drafter

This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will reside near Seattle, Portland, or Las Vegas; some in-office days may be required. Travel to job sites may be periodically required.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, designers, and project managers to complete modeling tasks, create views and sheets, and produce documents for QC purposes as well as deliverables.
• Keep track of multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other consultants through BIM Collaboration software when required, all while maintaining model integrity and quality.

Flexibility in methods and a strong desire to learn is encouraged.

Requirements

• 5 years demonstrated experience with Revit and AutoCAD, in a drafting or design role on MEP systems.
• Ability to collaborate with others and solve problems.
• Make decisions based on designs.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and conventions.
