Drafter
This Drafter role focuses on creating accurate 3D models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks. You will transform design concepts into precise digital models that support engineering, manufacturing, and production teams, ensuring that all designs meet quality and functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks based on design concepts and specifications.
- Develop and update drafting documentation to support engineering and production processes.
- Ensure that all drawings and models are accurate, clear, and compliant with applicable standards and project requirements.
- Revise and refine existing models and drawings to reflect design changes or improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to clarify design intent and resolve drafting-related issues.
- Organize and maintain digital files and drawings in a structured and accessible manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting.
- Demonstrated experience creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Ability to interpret design concepts and translate them into clear, precise drawings.
- Basic understanding of engineering or manufacturing drawings and standards.
- Previous experience in a drafter role or similar position.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling workflows and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and other technical staff.
Work Environment
The Drafter works in a professional office or design environment using SolidWorks and related 3D modeling tools on a computer workstation. You will spend most of your time working on digital models and drawings, collaborating with technical team members, and managing design files in a structured digital system.
Pay
$30.00 - $40.00/hr.
