About the role
A leading company in the Architecture and Engineering sector is seeking a qualified CAD Designer for their Kansas City office. The role involves producing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings with a focus on Civil Design and Site Grading. This position is integral to the success of projects within the telecommunications industry.
Responsibilities
- Complete drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images.
- Conduct peer reviews of other designers’ drawings as part of a quality control process.
- Address drawing comments based on redlines from clients, project managers, engineers, and peer reviews.
- Maintain orderly files and materials according to company standards.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Strong drafting and design skills with a focus on Civil, Structural, and Electrical aspects.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- General office skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Qualifications
- Certification or Associate's degree in CAD Design is preferred but open to other backgrounds.
- Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
