About the role

Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, established in 1957, is expanding its team and seeking skilled and compassionate professionals across multiple campuses in Karachi.

Responsibilities

• IT Security Specialist: Safeguard hospital and university IT systems by implementing and managing endpoint protection, security alerts, and privileged access control. Ensure robust cybersecurity, rapid threat response, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Manager Quality Assurance: Promote Quality Improvement in all hospital processes and procedures through training and assessment of all departments, in accordance with national and international quality standards.
• Infection Control Officer: Oversee and implement infection prevention and control (IPC) policies, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, minimize infection risks, and promote a safe environment.
• Staff Nurse: Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care through competent assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Maintain high standards of care while adhering to professional, ethical, and institutional policies.
• PACS Engineer: Manage and support PACS and related medical imaging systems. Install, configure, maintain, and monitor systems, ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• HVAC Engineer: Responsible for installation, operation, and maintenance of air conditioning systems and chiller plants. Ensure efficient cooling performance, system reliability, and compliance with safety standards.
• Assistant Quality Manager – Clinical Lab: Ensure compliance of all Quality Assurance Standards including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 15189, SHCC, and CAP. Implement effective quality assurance and training activity reviews.
• Outreach Phlebotomist: Perform phlebotomy at outreach centers or collect lab samples from outreach contractual partners. Responsible for data entry of order bookings, cash receiving, sample labeling, and sample dispatch.
• Call Center Supervisor and Call Center Officer: Support customer service operations by supervising and assisting call center staff.

Requirements

• IT Security Specialist: Bachelor’s degree in IT (4 years) or Computer Science. Cybersecurity certification in related field. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Manager Quality Assurance: Bachelor’s/Master’s with certification courses in Quality Assurance preferred. 10 to 12 years of healthcare experience.
• Infection Control Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or related field. Diploma in Nursing/BSN. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Staff Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing / BSCN / Post RN BScN / Diploma in Midwifery. 2 to 3 years of relevant experience. Valid PNC License.
• PACS Engineer: BS in Computer Science or relevant field. 3 to 4 years of experience. Shift: Rotational.
• HVAC Engineer: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Assistant Quality Manager – Clinical Lab: M.Phil / MS / BS in Clinical Laboratory Sciences/Allied Health Sciences. MBA in Healthcare Management will be added advantage. 2 to 3 years’ experience after post-graduation.
• Outreach Phlebotomist: Intermediate / Preferably Graduate. Diploma of Phlebotomy/Lab Technician/Lab Technologist with valid motorbike license. 1 year ZH or 2 years related experience. Clearness of competency test is mandatory.
• Call Center Supervisor and Call Center Officer: Relevant experience and skills in customer service and call center operations.
