DPO

The DPO is responsible for operating and maintaining the dynamic positioning (DP) system onboard a vessel or offshore installation, ensuring safe and efficient positioning during critical operations such as drilling, subsea construction, or offshore production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of awareness of all operations and power systems
• Complete all logs, forms, and check sheets in an efficient manner
• Assist in the training of assistant DPOs
• Operate the manual DP controls when needed
• Troubleshoot the DP system when needed

Requirements

• Previous offshore experience
• Valid driver’s license or passport
• Current STCW certification
• USCG medical certificate
• USCG MMCC certification
• Current DP certificate
• COVID vaccination

• T-HUET / BOSIET / FOET
• TWIC
