DoW Skillbridge - Program Lead

Requirements

• Work in conjunction with the Portfolio Director to make decisions for operational activities and set program performance goals based on customer requirements
• Responsible for program compliance and personnel performance and ensure program requirements are met in the most efficient manner
• Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of all program activities to ensure smooth progress
• Manage employee performance and merit increases
• Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks
• Manage teams of contract support personnel, as needed for specified programs
• Maintain and manage the client interface at the Program Office Management levels of the client organization
• Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues
• Regularly briefs senior leadership on program status and milestones
• Collaborate with corporate functional departments to ensure overall success of assigned program (HR, Contracts, Finance, recruiting, purchasing)
• Develop comprehensive customer reports and manage all contract deliverables

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or an additional 2 years of experience of acquisition and contractor management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification desired
• Five years of professional experience supporting government programs with a minimum of three years in Program/Project management and/or supervision of employees
• Experience with managing dispersed teams, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability
• Basic understanding of FAR, contract processes, acquisition policies and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to work within teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in all areas of contracted effort such as program management, systems engineering, major system acquisitions, and financial management
• Requires eligibility to obtain security clearance depending on requirements for any assigned programs
