Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of external grant-supported research
• Disseminate research findings
• Promote the translation of research findings into practice working closely with practice colleagues
• Mentor junior faculty, clinician scientists, and students
• Participate in the development and submission of interdisciplinary grant applications for centers and training programs
• Maintain individual extramural funding

Qualifications

• Hold an earned doctorate in nursing or related field
• If a nurse, must be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida
• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor
• Record of research relevant to memory disorders
• History of federal funding
• Strong publication record
• Demonstrated leadership with building and managing a research enterprise
• Commitment to excellence in teaching
• Vision to position the College prominently at the national stage
