About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, and dependable Dorm Supervisor to lead our residential team and help students develop the skills, confidence, and habits they need to succeed in life and their careers.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and structured dormitory environment
• Support student growth, retention, achievement, and overall success
• Supervise and lead residential staff to ensure quality student support
• Build positive relationships with students while encouraging accountability and personal responsibility
• Use sound judgment to resolve student and staff concerns professionally and effectively
• Partner with counseling staff to provide individualized case management and support student success
• Promote a positive residential culture where students feel respected, supported, and motivated
• Conduct dorm inspections and ensure compliance with center standards
• Serve as a mentor who helps students develop life skills, leadership abilities, and confidence

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year of Job Corps experience or experience in a related youth development, residential, educational, or workforce program
• Preferred: Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited institution
• Valid in-state driver's license

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching
• The ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance
