About the role

Glenmont Job Corps Center is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Dorm Supervisor to lead the residential team and support students' growth and success.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and structured dormitory environment
• Support student growth, retention, achievement, and overall success
• Supervise and lead residential staff to ensure quality student support
• Build positive relationships with students while encouraging accountability and personal responsibility
• Use sound judgment to resolve student and staff concerns professionally and effectively
• Partner with counseling staff to provide individualized case management and support student success
• Promote a positive residential culture where students feel respected, supported, and motivated
• Conduct dorm inspections and ensure compliance with center standards
• Serve as a mentor who helps students develop life skills, leadership abilities, and confidence

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of Job Corps experience or experience in a related youth development, residential, educational, or workforce program
• A valid in-state driver's license

Qualifications

• Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited institution preferred
