Door Jamb Builder

Job Responsibilities

• Pick materials for jambs and stops
• Stitch door jambs
• Cut and stitch jamb heads and strike jambs to size
• Pick door orders from a pick ticket
• Wrap, bundle, and load material properly to be shipped or delivered
• Manage orders to be completed in full and on time
• Inspect all material for quality
• Stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Have constant communication with department lead on progress with work orders
• Work together with a team throughout the warehouse to achieve maximum efficiency with 100% complete and on-time deliveries
• Pick material using a stand/sit forklift as needed
• Assist with accurate inventory counting for door jambs and stops
• Keep stock bins full for door operators
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous material handler experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Candidate must have a good work history
• Able to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions, have good communication skills (verbal and written), and be detail oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime as needed (1st shift)
• Monday-Friday, 2:30-11pm, overtime as needed (2nd shift)

Pay

• $20/hr. (1st shift)
• $21/hr. (2nd shift)
