Donor Services Manager

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking an experienced Donor Services Manager in Brooksville, FL to lead collection operations for whole blood and apheresis, ensuring annual goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively. This role focuses on maintaining premier donor care, customer safety, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Director and/or Regional Manager with oversight of blood collection and donor recruitment.
• Monitor regional projections and planning to meet or exceed collection goals.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplining to ensure a well-qualified team.
• Motivate and educate Donor Services staff, fostering team morale and operational cooperation.
• Plan, organize, and direct all aspects of whole blood, apheresis, and automated collection operations (fixed site or mobile).
• Review weekly recruitment goals and projections; implement corrective action when goals are not met.
• Represent and promote LifeSouth’s mission to the community.
• Complete CDL training program and obtain state CDL licensing; drive bloodmobiles when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Valid driver’s license; must meet LifeSouth’s driver eligibility requirements.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills (oral and written).
• Proficiency in computer software applications and effective delegation.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred.

Pay

Starting salary range is $62,000 - $68,200 annually.
