Overview The Donor Relations Manager for the Riverside Healthcare Foundation is responsible for implementation of the strategic annual giving program that engages and inspires donors. This role requires a dynamic professional who can effectively manage volunteers, implement direct mail and digital communication strategies, deepen donor engagement through personalized stewardship and support special events. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering relationships, growing donors’ connection to the mission, and advocating for Riverside both within the organization and in the broader community. Location: Kankakee, Illinois Salary Range: $65,312 to $85,716 Shift: Days Essential Duties Strategic Program Development: Implement and engage a year-long, strategic process of appeals and outreach to new and existing donors, ensuring a consistent donor experience.Donor Prospecting: Proactively identify, cultivate, steward and solicit donor prospects. Work closely with foundation team, board members, key donors, physicians, and volunteers to connect donors to Riverside. Donor Engagement: Utilize moves-management strategies to deepen donor relationships and increase giving levels. Implement personalized stewardship plans to recognize and appreciate donors.Direct Mail and Digital Communications: Implement best practices in direct mail and digital communication to effectively reach and engage donors. Develop compelling content that resonates with diverse donor audiences.Donor Recognition: Develop and implement donor recognition strategies that celebrate donor contributions and enhance their connection to Riverside’s mission. Includes donor related strategies within Riverside’s campus gardens and courtyards.Data Management: Review donor data to inform personal and global donor strategies. Leverage the foundation’s donor database software to track donor interactions, manage relationships, and analyze fundraising opportunities.Volunteer Management: Engage and coordinate volunteers in the annual giving process, ensuring they are effectively utilized and supported in their roles. Non-essential Duties Assist with other fundraising and development activities as required to support the overall goals of the Riverside Healthcare Foundation.Perform additional tasks as assigned, including special projects that contribute to the success of the Foundation. Responsibilities Preferred Experience Strong understanding of direct mail and digital communication best practices.Proficiency in moves-management and donor engagement strategies.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to relate to and inspire a wide variety of people. Strong organizational and time management skillsPassion for nonprofit work and genuine desire to help people grow their connection to Riverside’s mission.Team player with a collaborative spirit and the ability to work well with diverse individualsAbility to leverage technology and data to enhance fundraising outcomes.Experience with CRM or donor database software is advantageous. Preferred Licensure/Education Bachelors degree preferredOne to three years of direct fundraising experience preferred.
