Donor Relations Manager
Position Details
As the Donor Relations Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our fundraising efforts. You will:
- Manage and optimize key Advancement systems (Salesforce, Donately, Adavico, Microsoft 365)
- Ensure accurate gift processing, acknowledgments, and reconciliation
- Produce clear, actionable reports for leadership and the Board
- Analyze Advancement data to guide strategy and decision-making
- Support annual fundraising appeals and donor communications
- Cross-departmental projects that keep our mission moving
- Maintain strong, consistent processes that help the team work efficiently
Position Requirements
- 3+ years in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, or similar work
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Experience with donor databases (Salesforce NPSP preferred)
- Experience with fundraising software such as Donately, GiveLively or iWave
- Experience with finance and accounting processes (general ledger/GAUs, ACH transfers, stock donations, tax compliance, and in-kind contributions)
- Strong reporting, data analysis, and Excel skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Excellent organization and collaboration abilities
- A commitment to mission-driven work and data-informed decision-making
- Experience supporting annual fundraising appeals or campaigns is strongly preferred
- Foundation and grant management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of corporate sponsorships is a plus
- Salesforce administration and project management certification are a plus
Work Environment & Employment Requirements
- Hybrid office environment with at least two in-office days per week
- Occasional schedule flexibility required for deadlines or events
- Occasional travel for company-sponsored trainings or Advancement events
- Successful completion of background and motor vehicle records checks
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to use a computer for long durations and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift or carry light items (generally up to 25lbs) such as office supplies or files

Pay
$55,000 - $62,000 Annually (DOE)
