Donor Finance and Reporting Officer

About the role

The Donor Finance and Reporting Officer will support the accurate and timely preparation of donor financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for assigned projects. Working under the direction of the Global Programme Finance Coordinator, the postholder will help maintain restricted funding records, monitor expenditure against budgets, support compliance with donor requirements, and work collaboratively with finance, programme, and partner colleagues to ensure reporting information is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor financial reports and reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Maintain restricted funding records for assigned projects.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets to ensure compliance.
• Support adherence to donor requirements and guidelines.
• Collaborate with finance, programme, and partner teams to ensure complete and accurate reporting.
• Ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready.

Requirements

• Experience in donor relations, donor development, donor database management, or grant reporting.
• Skills in donor communication, donor research, non-profit fund development, and donor engagement.
