Donor Experience Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Engage with and support relationship-building efforts with a portfolio of supporters and prospects.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward donors through digital and in-person engagement.
  • Leverage technology including Sales Engagement, social media platforms, and video conferencing software tools to build rapport and communicate with donors.
  • Execute monthly and quarterly touchpoint cadences to ensure consistent and relevant donor communication.
  • Develop knowledge of engagement and philanthropic opportunities across the university to inform conversations and solicitations.
  • Build relationships across the University campus to connect donors with relevant individuals when applicable.
  • Aid in outreach and follow-up for events and activities on behalf of Engagement Relations and Development.
  • Maintain and monitor donor engagement to identify opportunities to support initiatives that drive donations.
  • Deliver high-quality, personalized donor experiences that foster trust, strengthen retention, and enhance philanthropic outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • At least one year of experience in higher education fundraising as a student or professional (preferred)
