Responsibilities
- Aid in coordinating the daily operations, including biologic product deviation notifications and addressing concerns.
- Safeguard the timely management of product level investigation under ARC inventory.
- Coordinate the identification, control, notification, and retrieval of suspect products.
- Identify suspect products by reviewing donor deferral records.
- Perform retrieval activities related to product complaints, including bacterial detection cases.
- May correct, update, and verify changes in donor records to ensure appropriate entry and confidential handling of data.
- May assist with donor reentry and reinstatement.
Requirements
- Full knowledge of job responsibilities.
- Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job.
- Contact within department and occasionally outside of organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High School or equivalent required. Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a science or health care field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience in blood banking/ collections, laboratory testing, medical records, auditing, quality review or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work on a team.
- Read, write, and verbally communicate at the high school to college level.
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills with Microsoft Office applications in a Windows environment.
- Bilingual is helpful.
