Donor Center Phlebotomist

About the Role

As part of our team, you will assist with every step of the blood collection process at fixed site locations. You’ll collaborate to create a welcoming environment for donors, follow safety procedures, and ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements. Paid phlebotomy training is provided, with opportunities to grow your healthcare skills and career within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Connect personally with donors, listening to their stories and helping them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment for repeat donors.
• Maintain detailed orientation to ensure blood collections meet goals, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Schedule

• 4x10-hour shifts with variable hours (early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays).
• Schedule provided 2-3 weeks in advance.
• Ability to travel to other donor center locations within a 2-hour radius of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Pay

• Starting rate: $23.34/hr (Entry-Level).
• $27.81/hr (LPN License).
• $33.00/hr (RN License).

Requirements

• Associate’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a public setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights, good manual dexterity, and adaptability to long, irregular hours.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (e.g., CNA, MA, EMT).
• Prior leadership experience.
