Donations Sorters/Pricers

About the role

Our Donations Sorters/Pricers are the “face of Goodwill” to the donors who make our work possible. They are team‑oriented, friendly and go out of their way to help donors. They lift incoming donations (up to 50 lb), evaluate merchandise and price it appropriately, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment where meeting high expectations is a priority.

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors and unloading donated goods.
• Providing friendly and informed customer service to donors, assisting with receipts.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of the area.
• Evaluating incoming merchandise and pricing it appropriately.
• Lifting incoming donations (up to 50 lb).
• Cross‑training opportunities: Cash Register, Hanging/Inspecting/Tagging textile & clothing in a production‑style setting.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lb; frequently lifting and carrying 10 to 35 lb.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: Production or similar experience preferred.

Pay

$15.00 per hour

Schedule

Associates should be available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10 am to 8 pm, opening at 11 am on Sunday.
