Domain Architect
About the role
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a Domain Architect to lead enterprise optimization efforts. This role requires a strong background in technology and business consulting, with expertise in domain architecture, design, and implementation.
Responsibilities
Leads preparation of domain architecture viewpoints and models depicting current, target, and interim states.
Identifies and analyzes pain points and opportunities (PPOs) using current state viewpoints.
Develops and utilizes architecture patterns to align with IT strategies and reference architectures.
Ensures target state alignment and integration across architecture domains.
Collaborates with other teams and stakeholders to maximize architecture impact and address technical limitations.
Evaluates and selects solutions and products that align with IT and domain strategies, standards, and guidelines.
Conducts research on emerging domain trends and evaluates vendor offerings for domain-specific tooling.
Develops and enhances domain-related communications and education materials for stakeholders and architecture partners.
Assesses domain impacts for complex new or proposed projects to support annual planning, resource estimation, and alignment with IT strategy and enterprise architecture.
Requirements
Expertise with domain related architecture frameworks, methods, and tools.
Effective organizational, interpersonal/relationship management, analytical, communications (written and verbal), and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage cross-domain architecture solutions and issues.
Ability to motivate and influence others to meet project objectives in a timely manner.
Ability to coach, delegate, and develop architects and engineers.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in architecture domain.
In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Qualifications
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 10 years’ Experience in Architecture Domain.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree.
