We offer dogs a safe place to play while providing socialization, exercise, and TLC from certified Camp Counselors. With over 170 locations, dogs visit a Camp Bow Wow more than 3 million times a year, where they enjoy our premier doggy day care, boarding, and training services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean environment – we use pet safe chemicals to clean constantly throughout the day.
• Feed dogs, administer medications, clean cabins, and lift heavy items.
• Maintain the ultimate in safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Basic dog grooming – baths and nail trims.
• Fill in other roles at Camp when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• PATIENCE - Dogs can push your buttons and require a lot of redirection in a group environment.
• Self-starter: organized and eagle-eyed.
• MUST BE PUNCTUAL.
• Energetic and outgoing with an upbeat and positive personality.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK BOTH INDEPENDENTLY AND IN A TEAM SETTING.
• EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
• MUST LOVE DOGS.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to work most weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• MUST BE ABLE TO WALK AND STAND DURING THE ENTIRE 4, 6, OR 8-HOUR SHIFT.
• MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
• MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 30 LBS.

Working Conditions

• Must be available (with advance notice) to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Position will include standing for extended periods, bending, walking, exposure to cleaning chemicals, and dog fur/hair, and exposure to loud noise.
• Be able to work in all weather conditions.

Schedule

• Day shift: Monday to Friday.
• Night shift: Weekends and holidays.
