Documentation Specialist
for sections like About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to include only sections that have real specific content.
We need to parse the job posting.
The posting includes:
- Thank you for your interest... (application instructions) -> remove.
- JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: Prepares loan documentation for all consumer and certain non-complex commercial purpose loans, in a multi-state environment
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: list of duties.
- MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: details.
- MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: list of knowledge/skills.
- CORE COMPETENCIES: list.
- POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: list.
- ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS: list.
- DISCLAIMER etc: remove boilerplate.
- Equal Opportunity etc: remove.
We need to map to sections: About the role (maybe JOB FUNCTION/SUMMARY). Responsibilities (ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES). Requirements (MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE). Qualifications (maybe MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE). Skills (CORE COMPETENCIES, POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES, maybe combine). Benefits, Pay, Schedule: none present, so we should NOT include those sections.
We must not repeat job title as heading (not present). No Job ID.
We need to preserve all substantive info, not invent or summarize away detail. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.
We need to decide how to structure sections.
Potential sections:
-
About the role
with containing the JOB FUNCTION/SUMMARY sentence.
-
Responsibilities
with - each duty.
-
Requirements
with - for education/experience? Could be prose? The MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE is a list: "High school diploma or GED; Associate Degree in Business or a related field preferred", "1-2 years of clerical office experience; prior banking experience highly preferred", "No certification, licensure or registrations are required to successfully apply for this job; however, the following certifications from Hancock Bank’s Computer Based Training (CBT) are required, if applicable, once in this position: Certification in Banking Regulations (Reg. B, Reg. CC, Reg. O, Reg. Z) Certification in HMDA Compliance Certification in CRA, RESPA, RMR Regulations". That's a bit complex; we can break into bullet points.
-
Qualifications
for MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: list of knowledge items.
- Skills
maybe combine CORE COMPETENCIES and POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES and ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS? But mental/physical requirements maybe not skills; but could be under Skills? However guidelines: Use headings for sections only when posting has real specific content. We have content for core competencies, position specific competencies, essential mental & physical requirements. Could make separate sections: maybe "Core Competencies", "Position Specific Competencies", "Essential Mental & Physical Requirements". But headings allowed: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. They gave a list of allowed headings; we should use those. So we need to map content to those headings. If we have content that doesn't fit exactly, we could still use those headings but maybe combine multiple under Skills.
Thus:
- About the role: JOB FUNCTION/SUMMARY.
- Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE.
- Qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE.
- Skills: CORE COMPETENCIES + POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES + ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (maybe as separate sublists? Could combine but risk losing detail. However we can still keep as separate under Skills heading, each with a - that contains a sublist? But spec says use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nested lists? Probably okay but better to keep flat. Could make separate sections for each but headings limited. Could we add extra headings like "Core Competencies"? The instruction says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). It says "e.g." meaning examples, not exclusive? It says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Likely they expect only those headings. So we must stick to those.
Thus we need to fit all content into those sections.
We can put Core Competencies, Position Specific Competencies, Essential Mental & Physical Requirements all under Skills heading, perhaps as separate with a preceding describing each? But we must not invent filler text. We can include a
before each list to label them, but that would be adding text not in original? The original has headings "CORE COMPETENCIES", "POSITION SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES", "ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS". We could preserve those as
with strong? But we cannot add new headings; we can use
to include the original heading text as a label. That's acceptable because it's preserving original text. Eg
Core Competencies:
then . That preserves the info.
Thus under Skills section we can have:
Core Competencies:
...
Position Specific Competencies:
...
Essential Mental & Physical Requirements:
...
That preserves all.
Now we need to ensure we don't include boilerplate like disclaimer, EEO, etc.
Now construct HTML.
We'll output:
