Documentation & Materials Compliance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a Documentation & Materials Compliance Specialist to support a project involving the review and documentation of packaging materials used in manufacturing and shipping. The role involves reviewing production documents, tracing materials, and working with suppliers to obtain detailed information on material composition, including heavy metals.

Responsibilities

• Review production documentation, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and specification sheets.
• Trace packaging materials and collect material composition data.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain chemical and material information.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic document management systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support project activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biologics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, biologics, or pharmaceutical environments.
• Experience with production documentation and material traceability.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and specification sheets.
• Experience with electronic document management systems.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product documentation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with packaging materials or material compliance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biologics, or medical device manufacturing.
