What You'll Do
- Process incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring compliance, proper formatting, cover sheets, and quality standards
- Upload and organize files in EDMS with appropriate metadata
- Create and maintain document placeholders and records
- Arrange documents into appropriate packages and design and turnover
- Initiate, track, and expedite document review cycles
- Maintain regular reports and logs identifying open workflows, mail items, submittals, and other documents
- Maintain project distribution matrix
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
- 7-10 years of Document Control experience
- EPC, refinery, plant or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite
- Basic scripting (PowerShell, VBA) is a plus
- Proficient with EDMS platforms like SharePoint and Aconex, OpenText, or equivalent
- Proven ability to maintain data integrity across large document sets (10k+ records); experience with mega projects (~$1B cost, 4+ years) preferred
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills; capable of training non-technical staff
