Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Manage, track, and maintain engineering, construction, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure document control processes comply with project and quality requirements.
• Capture, review, and organize documentation for turnover and project closeout packages.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely document submission and approval.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction, or industrial project environments.
• Knowledge of CAPEX project documentation and experience in preparing and managing turnover packages and project closeout documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with GMP and previous regulated environments.
• CapEx - capital expansion project experience.
• Turnover Packages - experience working with documents turned over from the construction firm to the owner.
• Proficiency with Procore.

Work Environment

This position is on-site at a CAPEX project location, with normal working hours. The role is critical to ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available to support successful project execution and handover.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.52 - $58.52/hr.
