Document Control Specialist II (Onsite: Sacramento, CA)

About the role
The Document Control Specialist II role is a position in our Document Management Group in the Research Team. The role will include multiple activities within a secure area. Document Control Specialists are required to handle documents in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner while maintaining a consistent flow from one department to the next.
Responsibilities
- Partner with various departments to research and locate missing titles, file batches, and fix errors when they occur, using available resources and investigative skills.
- Use company proprietary software for research and data entry.
- Retrieve perfecting documents from a secured vault repository.
- Handle documents in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistent flow from one department to the next.
- Ensure that the assigned work is always completed within our service level agreements.
- Follow established procedures and compliance requirements.
- Assist in all areas of the department as needed (Scanning, Verifying, Quality Control, ICM and TV).
- Analyze documents to determine the appropriate action and routing based on document type and client requirements or expectations.
- Process title documents with a high level of accuracy and quality through complex sorting, logging, identifying, matching, entering, auditing, routing, and researching as required.
- Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, good organizational skills, adaptability, consistent accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Work a flexible schedule as needed, including occasional overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 1-3 years’ experience in a related field or any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, receptive to change, and able to multitask.
- Ability to learn processes and procedures quickly.
- Ability to prioritize workload and produce quality results.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of DMV title processing.
- Knowledge of Kofax & TMS.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Schedule
Expected schedule will be Mon, Fri 12pm-8:30pm & Tues, Wed, Thurs 1pm-9:30pm.
Pay
The hourly rate range for this position is: $19.25-$22.50. The final pay will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training, and skills.
