Position Summary
The Document Control Specialist is responsible for the management, accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of organizational documents. This role ensures documents are created, reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived in compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. The specialist supports readiness for audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews through effective document control processes and systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Quality, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in document control, quality, compliance, or healthcare administration.
- Demonstrated experience using electronic document management systems.
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft 365 and document control software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
