Overview

The Document Control Specialist (DCS) will have responsibility for assisting in and maintaining project documentation, transmittals, submittals, and communications in the Power Delivery and associated Power Sectors. The DCS will work with project managers, engineers, team members, shareholders, clients and other DCS in developing, updating, requesting, receiving, and publishing project documents. The DCS will learn the TRC and multiple client document management requirements and specifications and will maintain a high degree of internal customer service via clear and timely communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the processing and requesting of engineering & construction project documentation and drawings using ProjectWise and other company systems.
  • Assure credibility of the information contained in the submittal packages, update document attributes and verify submittal package integrity and evaluate logic and float paths.
  • Ability to receive large folders and number of files, organize the documents, review, and process per company standards.
  • Implements the document controls procedures and support project teams in submitting complete design packages to specific clients.
  • Work with the client's document management team members in tracking requested and available drawings.
  • Learn from and work with other Document Controls Specialists and TRC Team members.
  • Review weekly progress information and update tracking sheets as requested.

Qualifications

  • Education: Highschool Diploma with work experience, Associate Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 0-4 years of demonstrated communication skills to deal with internal/external clients.
  • Experience with appropriate software (Microsoft Office Suite, Email, social media).

Pay

USD $18.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.
