Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and evaluations on Doctrine, Strategic/Regulatory Guidance, and Theory (NSS, NDS, GEF, applicable DoD and service regulations, IW, BPC, SFA, FID, Stability Operations, COIN, CT, Theater Campaign Planning).
- Teach subjects including, but not limited to: Strategic Guidance for Air Advisors, Aviation Enterprise Development, Theater Guidance, IW Fundamentals, Insurgency Fundamentals, COIN Fundamentals, FID, and Systems Thinking.
- Develop, update, revise, and deliver curriculum and courseware IAW USAF EOS established policy.
- Liaison with Air Force Geographic Component Commands, HAF, MAJCOMs, CNAFs, other services, interagency, intergovernmental, and NGOs to ensure curriculum remains current and relevant.
- Serve as focal point and SME for doctrine and strategic guidance; assist in other disciplines as directed by the Site Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Deployed as a Military Advisor, PolMil Affairs Strategist (PAS), Regional Affairs Strategist (RAS), FAO, PRT member, attaché, or Security Cooperation Officer (or equivalent advisory role); served on a DoD Major Command Staff or higher for at least two years.
- Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister service school equivalent (in-residence or by correspondence).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; CAC required within two weeks of start date.
- Verification of advisory deployment experience and MAJCOM level staff service required.
