About the role

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize the industry. This role offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $46,000, with potential for bonus or commission pay based on performance.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload freight from trailers using manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts
  • Sort and organize freight in the dock area according to destination or shipment priority
  • Inspect freight for damage, verify labeling and documentation and report any discrepancies
  • Absorb freight to prevent damage during transit
  • Communicate with dispatchers, drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely processing of shipments
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures during operations

Requirements

  • The ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • 1-2 years of dock or warehouse experience
  • Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
