Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises 10 - 30 employees within the Depot.
  • Indirectly supervises 1-2 employees within the Depot’s office.
  • Carrries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and appraises employees.
  • Plans, assigns, and directs work; ensures equipment is inspected, maintained, and cleaned.
  • Oversees all inbound and outbound loads, performing final quality checks.
  • Shifts employee tasks to handle workload spikes.
  • Makes recommendations to the Manager regarding staffing, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Participates in employee performance reviews.
  • Ensures a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment.
  • Maintains accurate inventory, production accuracy, and overall warehouse quality.
  • Shares responsibility for building security and asset safeguarding.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Two or more years of warehouse and logistics experience preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or team lead experience highly preferred.
