Dock Operator 2nd Shift (Shipping)

Responsibilities

• Maintains all aspects of inventory control in the warehouse and all assigned work areas.
• Pick, pack, and label materials as needed.
• Physically move materials from one location to another as dictated by appropriate documents.
• Safely operate forklift and/or hand truck, performing daily preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Count parts by hand count to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Utilize RF scan gun and/or hand-held radio frequency devices to access information.
• Communicate with supervisors, team leaders, and other associates regarding material movements and any exceptions or quality issues.
• Perform replenishment and picking functions as required.
• Ensure the work area is clean and safe by observing safety regulations and reporting any unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Previous and/or current forklift experience
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• High School Diploma or GED
