About the role
A dock hand performs a variety of tasks to assist boaters and ensure smooth operations at the marina.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Dock boats properly.
- Ensure cleanliness of the docks.
- Communicate with boaters in a professional manner.
- Report all incidents and abnormalities to the Marina Operations Supervisor.
- Perform marina-related duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be able to swim and have general knowledge of lifesaving techniques.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Minimal experience in marina operations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Pay
USD $17.00 per hour (tipped position).
