Dock, Door & Racking Technician

What You’ll Do

• Travel to customer facilities to install, maintain, and repair dock equipment and overhead doors
• Auxiliary in warehouse racking installation projects, including assembly, erection, and setting engineered products at customer sites
• Accurately complete installations and service work with attention to safety
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal team members while on job sites
• Provide daily progress and completion updates to supervisors
• Maintain proper use, care, and security of company-owned tools and equipment
• Conduct oneself professionally and represent the company
• Collaborate with the service, sales, and project teams to ensure successful job completion
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned

What You Need

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. frequently and work in active job-site environments
• Ability to read basic measurements, use hand and power tools, and perform hands-on work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, construction, or welding work preferred
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
