Dock & Door Technician

About the role

We're looking for experienced technicians to install and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and warehouse equipment. Our Dock & Door Technicians start their day from home and travel directly to customer sites. If you have strong mechanical skills and work well in a team environment, this is a great long-term opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair dock levelers, overhead doors, and related equipment
• Travel to customer facilities throughout the day
• Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Communicate clearly with customers on work performed and recommendations
• All other responsibilities/duties as assigned

Requirements

• Mechanical experience (dock & door, construction, garage doors, or similar)
• Comfort working with tools, equipment, and installations
• Able to work independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift, climb, and work in physical environments
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a related field preferred

Skills

• Strong mechanical skills
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Effective communication skills

$24–$40/hr + take home company truck
