About the role
Field Dock and Door Service Techs are responsible for providing maintenance and repair services to dock and door systems at various industrial sites. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues related to dock and door systems
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and other team members to address service requests
- Document all work performed and communicate status updates to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or similar field
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
- Experience with common industrial machinery and systems

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

$18 - $22 per hour based on experience
