This position is for a Licensed NC Armed Security Officer at a food distribution warehouse in Kannapolis, North Carolina (approx. 15-18 miles north of Charlotte). We will assist unarmed officers in obtaining their armed license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
• Conduct patrols, checkpoints, temperature checks, and gatehouse duties
• Other duties as determined by operations

Requirements

• Valid NC Armed license (we will assist in obtaining it)
• Valid NC Driver’s License
• Minimum of one year of prior security experience
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
• Must already possess a 9mm firearm and a Level 3 holster
• Ability to perform physical tasks including crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods

Schedule

• Thurs–Sun: 10 PM–6 AM
• Sat–Sun: 6 AM–2 PM
• Mon–Wed: 10 PM–6 AM

$22.00 per hour
