DME Driver/Service Technician - Deerfield Beach

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath, is seeking a dependable and customer service-oriented DME Driver/PT Service Technician to join our team in Deerfield Beach. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has cared for more than 200,000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit, we provide 24/7 hospice and palliative care, along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness.

Responsibilities

• Provides pick-up and delivery services for all DME and oxygen equipment to patients and families.
• Instructs clients as to the proper use of equipment.
• Responsible for the final inspection of equipment prior to delivery.
• Completes home safety assessment relating to patients' environment for safety purposes.
• Maintains quality compliance and adheres to all infection control practices and policies.
• Communicates effectively and provides a high level of customer service in direct contact with patients and families.

Requirements

• 1-3 years working experience, preferably in a courier/delivery setting.
• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
• Valid Florida driver’s license, a good driving record, and adequate insurance coverage.
• Excellent knowledge of the Palm Beach County road systems.
• Ability to work well under stress and handle multiple activities at once.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.

Schedule

• Full-time position: Wednesday - Saturday, 11am – 9:30pm.
