Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the inventory, maintenance and provision of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provided to Senior CommUnity Care of Colorado (SCCCO) program participants.
  • Initial receiving, asset tagging, delivering, retrieval and maintenance of SCCCO owned medical equipment.
  • All administrative functions associated with the equipment including managing records of provision and delivery of equipment, inventory tracking, invoices, etc.
  • Cleans and restocks DME upon retrieval from participants homes.
  • Covers administrative tasks such as coordinating and scheduling preventive maintenance, monitoring location of equipment and preparing reports of utilization of equipment with support of the Rehab Manager.
  • Delivers DME and supplies to SCCCO participants in a safe, courteous and timely manner.
  • Prioritizes and coordinates equipment pick-up and delivery from participants and vendors.
  • Cleans and disinfects DME, tags and inventory as ordered/retrieved equipment is received.
  • Maintains SCCCO Equipment Log.
  • Schedules preventive maintenance or calibration for all SCCCO DME, including equipment located in day centers, therapy gyms, clinics and participant homes.
  • Coordinates with vendor and rental companies as necessary.
  • Provides participants, family members, caregivers and staff with appropriate training and instructions for safe operation and handling of equipment as recommended by manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as required or requested.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • Certification or training in proper handling and maintenance of medical equipment strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population. Preference would be to have either training or related experience in the job assigned.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation.
  • Familiarity with word processing, data processing, and computer entry skills.

Pay

Hourly Range: $17 - $21 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM
