Divisional Training Manager

About the role

Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant, and meeting place featuring healthy and delicious menu options, in-house pastries, and signature cookies. As the Divisional Training Manager for Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, you will conduct and oversee all aspects of hourly employee training across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee hourly employee training, including orientation, initial training, tastings, informational seminars, and ongoing development.
• Review, maintain, and update hourly employee training and reference materials.
• Observe, maintain, and update training systems as needed; communicate observations with management and partners.
• Attend management meetings and informational seminars.
• Maintain excellence in all functions outlined in hourly team job descriptions.
• Assist General Managers and designated managers/chefs with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, training, supervising, and developing hourly employees.
• Use and teach the online applicant tracking system (ATS) to managers.
• Assist with execution and organization of GHS, food handlers compliance, and alcohol awareness training.
• Model and promote teamwork across all teams.
• Use tact and good judgment when handling challenges with guests, vendors, and employees.
• Work a variety of days and shifts (including early mornings, late nights, and weekends) at multiple sites, with or without overnight travel as needed.
• Move and lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• 2 years of trainer experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Skilled in leading and developing teams.

Pay

USD $60,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 per year.
